THE AUTOEXEC.NT BUG
It is possible that you will have to deal with this bug, in which case you will see the following error message :

c:/olddos.exe
C:/windows/system32/autoexec.nt
system file is not suitable for runningMS-DOS and Windows applications
Choose close to terminate application

This screen may actually only appear momentarily, and then close, before you can read it. If that happens, autoexec.nt may be the problem.

One of the recent Windows Service Packs has stuffed up the autoexec.nt file. I ended up having to download a new autoexec.nt file and putting it in the system32 folder. Always worth a try but I take no responsibility!

You can download the autoexec.nt file off the Qooty website, here. As of version 9.3, I'll just include it with the rest of the Qooty package, and then all you'll need to do is move it to system32.
